Sports Physicals
Physicals will be given for all 6-12th graders for the upcoming 2013-14 school year at UK Sports Medicine. A physical form must be completed prior to the athletes arrival with the parents signature. A physical form can be downloaded here or picked up from your coach.
Date for physicals: May 21
Time: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Cost: $20 cash or check made out to UK
Location: UK Sports Medicine, 601 Perimeter Dr.
Girls' Basketball Summer Open Gym Calendars
UK Aquabots Day Camp (For Girls Entering Grades 7th-11th in Fall 2013)
Come join us for this one-week camp for girls to explore real-world challenges in underwater discovery. Girls will work together to design the ultimate underwater vessel. Make a splash in science while learning about underwater robotics. Design and build with LEGO Mindstorm and discover how robotics are changing the world!
The Aquabots Summer Camp is a DAY camp offered on the UK campus from July 29, 2013 to August 2, 2013.
The registration deadline is July 1, 2013.
Saint Joseph Summer Teen Program
Join the Saint Joseph Hospital, Saint Joseph East, and Saint Joseph Jessamine Summer Teen Volunteer Program 2013!!
We have numerous volunteer opportunities for you in patient-care and non-patient care placements. Here is a great chance to get some career experience or fulfill community service hour requirements for classes or clubs. Volunteer experience looks great on college or scholarship applications, AND you get the personal satisfaction of helping others.
If you would like to apply for our Saint Joseph Summer Teen Program, or get more information, go online to http://www.saintjosephvolunteers.org and follow the links. You must be 14 years of age by the end of June 2013 to participate. Once you have earned 150 volunteer hours, you will be eligible to apply for a $1000 scholarship!
