The Infinite Campus (IC) Parent Portal is now
available. In selecting a new student information
system for statewide use to replace STI, the
Kentucky Department of Education chose IC in part
because it had such a feature rich interface for
parents to access their student’s data. Through the
Parent Portal you will be able to access your
student’s attendance, schedule, grades, assessments,
transportation and other reports as they are all
conveniently located in one place with one login.
Please read the information below regarding initial
login, support and note other important items.
Conditions:
Infinite Campus (IC) Parent
Portal access has been activated and parents were
sent an e-mail with activation instructions if all 3
conditions were met:

Their household
verification form has been processed.

They gave us a valid
e-mail address.

They indicated that they
wanted to be notified by e-mail.
Note that household information
for high schools and middle schools has been
entered. Household information entry for elementary
schools is still in progress.
We
are sending out a new batch of activation
instructions to newly verified
households via e-mail each week.
If a parent received the e-mail
and has trouble logging in, they should e-mail
parent.portal@fayette.kyschools.us
for help.
If a
parent has not received the e-mail, someone at the
school can look up the student’s household
information to see if it has been verified and if
there is an e-mail address.

If
the household has not been verified, the school
can give the parent a household verification
form to complete and return to the
school. School will then submit to IAKSS for
input and notification.

If
the household has been verified but there is no
e-mail address, the parent can provide an e-mail
address. School will then submit
to IAKSS for input and notification.

If
the household information in IC does not
indicate that the parent wants to be notified by
e-mail, the parent can request that the school
submit that change to IAKSS for input and
notification.

If
the parent does not have e-mail but still wants
access to the Parent Portal, they can contact
the school and request access. The school would
then contact the e-mail address above and
request a letter for that parent.

All users, except those that currently have an
Infinite Campus account, will log in as a first time
user using the Campus Portal Activation
Key number that will be provided to you in either an
email or paper mail from FCPS.
You only need to enter
the provided Key once at which point you will be
transferred to a new page where you will then be
able to create a User Name (this needs to be unique
so it is suggested that you use your email address)
and password. After you enter an acceptable User
Name (minimum 6 characters) and password you will be
returned to the main page to log in using your newly
created User Name and password. Special note for
teachers and staff: If you already have access
to Infinite Campus please login as an existing user
using the same User Name and password that you use
for the Application Site.
